If you have anything to say, which I am sure you do, then you should be blogging.  This doesn't mean millions will read your blog or that you will be able to retire on your blog advertising revenue.  That requires a good blog topic, great writing skills, a lot of good marketing and good timing.

Q: What should I blog?
A: If you have anything to say about your business, some other organization you are a part of or a topic you are passionate about.  Then you should blog about them all. 

Q: Why should I blog?
A: For you organizations, it will give people a reason to visit your website again.  If you only have static information, then once they have looked it over the is NO reason to ever return.  Even if you revamp your website to the most awesome 2.0 version ever.  BUT if you are blogging they will come back to see what new information you have.  That means your 2.0 website will be a big hit!

For the topics you are passionate about, it is a good forum to communicate your thoughts and views.  It also helps you organize your thoughts and when you get a loyal following you will get some great feedback.
